The Beginning...

                This last month I had the opportunity to help release 180 young adults into their destiny. A destiny that they might not have expected, one that they would not have gotten if they didn't respond to God’s call on their life. During this time you are taken on a journey of healing, finding your identity and empowerment. It’s not a long process and it’s just the beginning but that little bit changes your life. That little bit of REAL TRUTH sets you free, and you are never the same again. I was never the same again. Having the chance to be on the other side of that experience made me feel more alive than ever! I loved it! It brought me so much life! Isn’t that what it’s all about? Living for things that bring you life?     

                 
      This January I’ll be starting a 6 month program at the G42 Leadership Academy. There, I will be living with about 20 other interns all getting equipped to to follow their own call in life. We will be making a plan and then, upon graduation, executing that plan. Whether it be a business, a church plant, a non-profit, more school or whatever! Here I will be getting equipped to step out and DO, to step out and make a difference!

                

          My Vision

Passion # 1 - I would love to be in a place where I can use the tools and experiences God has given me to activate and set free young adults like myself! I would love to mentor and give away what I've been given. Maybe I will start some kind of camp or small resort center where they can come to learn and explore more. Focusing on the process of healing, identity, empowerment and exploration. Finding out who God really is and who they really are. When you discover those things I believe you can do anything.

Passion # 2 - I would love to design and open a 24/7 prayer and worship house. God has put a fire in my heart for worship that I want to share.

The Next Step

        On September 3rd I came home after a year abroad. I was on a mission called The World Race, we brought the Kingdom of God to 11 countries in 11 months. (It was actually more like 23; Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Taiwan, Thailand, Myanmar, Cambodia, Vietnam, Kenya, Ghana, Togo, Benin, Nigeria,  Spain, Romania, Hungary, Serbia, Moldova, Ukraine, England and Ireland!) It was the most amazing, life changing year of my life! Read more about my trip and how it changed me here on My World Race Blog! 
              
       So what's next?! It's support raising season again! I am continuing to follow this call on my life. I will be headed down to Georgia in October to help equip the next few squads for their trip. Then in January I will be leaving for Spain to attend the G42 Leadership Academy. It is a 6 month program that is basically intended to get me to a place where I can step out and start to make things happen. To manifest the calling on my life, to take all the dreams and ideas I have and make them a reality! As they say "After successful completion of all course requirements, you will be encouraged to "Say Amen and Make a Plan" - establish a church where God has called you, or build a business, or lead a ministry. Or all three!"

Good Word

Take a step back and view your life through the perspective of eternity. Each decision that you make etches a lasting inscription in the walls of history. Choices that are made will become fruit of the following generations. This is a beautiful part of being alive. The blood that was shed on the battlefield of decision has now become the inheritance of the authority in your family lineage. There will come a day of justice when history will be revealed to each person, in that moment the fruit of your life will be unveiled right before your eyes. On that day there will be a great celebration in the heavens, for the man who has weathered the many storms of life while planting a harvest for a generation that he is now able to see. His reward will be everlasting. He will hear the Father's words, "Well done, good and faithful servant. The little that has been given to you has been multiplied through your hands." There is a conviction that is meant to way heavy on each person who calls himself a believer. We live with an awareness that life is meant to be sown into the destiny of people that I will never see. This conviction drives the mighty to pursue the impossible, the strong to brave the many storms. There is no escaping the thunderous storms of opposition, for we are the ones who have been commissioned to calm each of them. Each believer is called to take the test of life and turn them into a testimony. We have been launched into the darkest places of the earth, transforming them into the light of the world. We are the ones who see an army in the dry bones. It is us who can win a battle with a jar and a torch. Who you are should not be decided by our economy, persuaded by popular opinion, or formed through the media's bend. We are counter-culture by nature. We are predestined from the womb, set apart from the beginning. This life that we have chosen can only be navigated by a renewed mind. The old man screams 'too much' when faced with the impossible, and the flesh is a poor decision maker. Have you decided who you'll be? Do you know what you'll leave behind? With your words you create worlds, with your prayers you release inheritance. The balance between life and death has been designed to rest in your hands. Like many who have gone before you, we now have the opportunity to create change in the world around us. How you choose to live today is a choice for eternity.

The Awakening

     It's weird to say that I'll be home next week but, I'll be home next week! First I must make a quick stop in Ireland! The last few days I have with my squad will be amazing, we have our final debrief and then a World Race Conference called The Awakening! There will be everything from teaching to a dance-off, and Jonathan David Helser will be leading worship!
